Vintage 1820s English Coat of Arms Framed Panel Fire Extinguishers This MATCH Pewter Italian pewterAn 1820s English coat of arms panel, originally mounted to the door of a horse drawn coach and now preserved within a frame as a work of heraldic art. The painted crest identified the family to whom the carriage belonged, serving as both emblem and declaration of lineage as it traveled through the English countryside. Rich with age, history, and aristocratic tradition, the piece carries the romance of early nineteenth century travel and ceremony.
